Trust won the <strong>2023 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction,<\/strong> while <em>In the Distance<\/em> was a finalist for the same award. Born in Buenos Aires and raised partly in Sweden, D\u00edaz later studied in London and New York, where he completed his PhD. His work has been translated into dozens of languages, and he has received honours such as a <strong>Whiting Award<\/strong> and a <strong>Guggenheim Fellowship<\/strong>.
