Does the change from printed to digital support guarantee good educational quality? How should hypermedia texts be designed to foster meaningful learning? In this presentation participants will engage in the analysis of different types of hypermedia authenticated texts from a metacognitive perspective. The aim is to provide teachers with guidelines for the design of digital material that optimizes navigation and guarantees the construction of knowledge.

Presenter’s biodata
Mgter. Viviana Valenti holds a master degree in Linguistic Theories and Theories of Second Language Acquisition (UNR). She is a Teacher Trainer and former head of the English Department at I.E.S “Olga Cossettini” (Rosario). She teaches ESP at the Faculty of Engineering and is a “category IV” researcher at UNR.
