Connected speech for listening and speaking tasks

In this presentation, we will:

• outline features of connected speech that are relevant for pronunciation and fluency
• examine updates in GBE (Modern RP) which learners must be aware of for both speaking and listening tasks
• explore activities to tackle the actual decoding of words in authentic speech
• provide fun, stimulating activities to use in all levels
